The Berryville Band program is comprised of approximately 320 musicians in grades six through twelve. Dedicated to fostering a life-long appreciation and relationship with music, the Berryville Band faculty nourishes each musician with a healthy diet of different genres, and styles of music through their development. The students, faculty, and staff are committed to achieving high artistic performances, pride in the organization, communal camaraderie and excellence in music.
The Berryville Bands have traveled to several competitions and festivals through the Midwest. At the Heritage Festival in Chicago, IL, the High School Concert Band was named Best Overall Instrumental Program. Other festivals and competitions include the Bands of America Grand National Marching Championships, Indianapolis, Indiana; Festival of Music, Kansas City, MO; Performance at the Meyerson Center in Dallas, Texas; Renegade Review, Tulsa, OK, and Northwest Arkansas Invitational, Siloam Springs, AR. Since 2005, the Berryville High School Band has received the Sweepstakes Award for superior ratings at the ASBOA Concert and Marching Assessments.
